Bio:

Created from the crystal fragments of the Living Gate, the shardminds are sentient creatures unlike any other. Hunzu has made it his mission to reunite the shards of the Gate, the make it whole again. He has wandered gathering shards for 2,000 years, learning how to use his instinctive powers of the mind to aid him.

Hunzu has recently stolen a fragment of the Gate from an adventuring party, and the party hunts him trying to get it back.
